Welcome to the whimsical rosy red ramblings of a girl whose view of life is most definitely rose tinted

I live in an old cottage in St. Ives, Cornwall and love mixed media textiles, photography and art sketchbooks. My latest "favourite" thing is to manipulate my photos with layers and textures to make them look nostalgic

I'm taking part in the Erosion Bundle Project, the Brooklyn Sketchbook Project and Festival of Quilts 2011 as well as various online challenges and workshops

I'm a member of St. Ives Arts Club and I also have a dedicated mixed media textile art blog

On DVD ... I just watched Black Swan

Beautiful, elegant, poignant, interesting and dark. Natalie Portman reminded me of the very lovely Audrey Hepburn ... beauty with a dark side!
