Tag Tuesday

Tag Tuesday

is a brand new challenge which I'm hosting here
to create an art tag each week on a Tuesday
with a different seasonal theme

I am thrilled it has got off to a good start with 36 players
and some very beautiful snowy tags are appearing
for this week's theme of snow

"snow on snow"
"snowy landscape"

these are my tags made from a simple bit of collage
the sparkly silver snowflakes are cut from chiffon
and I've added some text

for the time being I'm displaying my tags
on the fireplace in my bedroom

it's still Christmas in the cottage until Friday
the weather is so appalling here ... rain, gales and darkness
I welcome the cheer of fairy lights and candles a little longer
and still plenty of time to share my Christmas photos before then

have a lovely Tuesday

Those are beautiful.

What a great idea. The sheep work really well for the wild and woolly theme we are all experiencing with the weather today.

Pretty tags Carolyn - and yes, I'm keeping my tree up until Friday too. The lights and glitter are very welcome on these dark days. x

so lovely Carolyn...your fireplace looks so inviting and cozy! It's dreary here as well...windy, cold and grey so a visit to your blog is the perfect way to bring some cheer!

Hello Carolyn
I love your tags. I also love the themes you have for this month. As it is the hight of Summer here in Australia. A snow theme is very cooling. I look forward to seeing more tags & making some myself.

Hi Carolyn, I love those sheep with the black faces (I did a drawing in my moleskin a couple of months back of one from an english magazine). Love your tag idea and I am going to play along too. Looks like great fun and a way of ensuring I do some 'art' during my working week.

Have the most wonderful 2012!!!!

Hi Carolyn
Your tags are gorgeous (as is your lovely home). Those sheep make me smile. Mmmm...these tags might entice me back into the world of paper again :). Love and hugs from Australia.

i have always loved shipping tags and little white tags that adorn items in antique shops so will definitely give it a go.

it's been a wonderful year sharing and learning from your take on life.
