Tag Tuesday
is a brand new challenge which I'm hosting here
to create an art tag each week on a Tuesday
with a different seasonal theme
I am thrilled it has got off to a good start with 36 players
and some very beautiful snowy tags are appearing
for this week's theme of snow
"snow on snow"
"snowy landscape"

these are my tags made from a simple bit of collage
the sparkly silver snowflakes are cut from chiffon
and I've added some text

for the time being I'm displaying my tags

it's still Christmas in the cottage until Friday
the weather is so appalling here ... rain, gales and darkness
I welcome the cheer of fairy lights and candles a little longer
and still plenty of time to share my Christmas photos before then
have a lovely Tuesday

ReplyDeleteHello Carolyn
ReplyDeleteI love your tags. I also love the themes you have for this month. As it is the hight of Summer here in Australia. A snow theme is very cooling. I look forward to seeing more tags & making some myself.

Hi Carolyn, I love those sheep with the black faces (I did a drawing in my moleskin a couple of months back of one from an english magazine). Love your tag idea and I am going to play along too. Looks like great fun and a way of ensuring I do some 'art' during my working week.
ReplyDeleteHave the most wonderful 2012!!!!
